Cleanup results

The Great American Cleanup, led locally by Keep Cincinnati Beautiful was a great success! Over 6000 individuals from 92 Cincinnati communities collected over 300,000 pounds of litter.

Besides picking up litter, volunteers cleaned riverbanks, collected recyclables, and planted thousands of flowers and trees. Among some of the more unusual things found were 10 shopping carts, 3 gas tanks, 8 car benches, and a sink.
