Your wish list for a greener Cincinnati

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008
I recently found an interesting wish list for Lexington online. In the new section called “I Make Cincinnati Green“, we ask individuals what is on their wish list for a greener Cincinnati.

Now it’s your turn!

The challenge: Live Green Cincinnati readers add comments to this posting with what’s on their wish list for a more environmentally friendly Cincinnati.

I’ll get it started with something from my green Cincinnati dreams list:
  • Green Transportation: a simple and advanced network of streetcars, fuel-efficient buses, light rail, high-speed passenger rail, and boats to make it feasible and preferable for the majority of Cincinnati-area residents and visitors not to own their own vehicles.

What’s on your wish list for a greener Cincinnati?

I’d like to see a requirement for some percentage of certified green products for practices in all new construction and rehabs.
